			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial">I don&#8217;t know what the orders were.  You&#8217;d think the 9/11 Commission would have wanted to know.  Why didn&#8217;t they ask Cheney?  Why didn&#8217;t they ask the young officer that asked him if the orders still stood?  You mentioned three possibilities.  I think we can rule out the first one (&#8221;Shoot them down&#8221;).  Not only because it didn&#8217;t happen, but also because if those were the orders, the young officer wouldn&#8217;t have continually asked if they still stood.  He would instead have been reporting their success or failure in shooting them down.  So the only real possibilities are numbers two and three.  But is there really any difference between them?  The second implies that Cheney was controlling the approaching craft.  The third implies that regardless of who was controlling the craft, Cheney wanted it to hit its target (which from the radar track could have just as easily been the White House or the US Capitol building as the Pentagon).  Either way, it would imply some level of Cheney complicity in the attack.  Now I have never accused Cheney of involvement.  But there&#8217;s sure enough there to warrant a complete investigation, including sworn public testimony by Cheney and others about this event.  The American people have a right to know what those &#8220;orders&#8221; were.</span></p>
